Assistant Manager - Brand Engagement

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Brand Engagement will lead Sharaf DG’s brand partnership planning and activation across its UAE retail network. This commercial role owns the full partnership agenda, from negotiating agreements with global technology and telecom brands to designing in‑store experiences and delivering integrated 360° marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage annual partnership agreements with global technology, telecom and audio brands, covering space rental, shared marketing investment and joint promotions.
• Set revenue targets for the Brand Engagements department, develop quarterly plans and track performance against budget.
• Identify new partnership opportunities, build business cases and present annual brand visibility and media plans to senior brand directors.
• Design in‑store shopper journeys using footfall data, customer patterns and sales analytics; define category placement strategies.
• Collaborate with visual merchandising, operations and store management to ensure consistent, customer‑first retail environments.
• Plan and execute 360° marketing campaigns across OOH, digital screens, in‑mall placements, roadshows and e‑commerce.
• Own the full campaign lifecycle – strategy, agency briefing, production, execution and ROI reporting.
• Develop and pilot new in‑store experience concepts, managing end‑to‑end delivery from design to fit‑out.

Required profile

• Commercially sharp with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proven experience in brand partnership planning, retail activation and integrated marketing.
• Ability to manage P&L and senior brand partner relationships.
• Comfortable working at the intersection of brand, retail and marketing.
