Assistant Manager – Brand Marketing

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Brand Marketing will develop and execute both long‑term and short‑term marketing strategies for assigned brands. This role supports brand growth, manages budgets, and drives business development while coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead brand management activities, ensuring all above‑ and below‑the‑line materials are delivered on time, within budget, and meet brand quality standards.
• Plan and execute integrated communication strategies to enhance brand equity and preference across markets.
• Manage media planning and relationships with local and national media houses to optimise resource utilisation.
• Develop and negotiate with new clients, securing profitable business and expanding market share.
• Conduct competitor analysis, market trend monitoring, and customer insight gathering to inform strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in brand management, with at least 4 years in the retail sector.
• Proven track record of delivering successful brand initiatives, driving customer engagement and achieving measurable business results.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market data into actionable strategies.
