Assistant Manager – Data & BI for Commercial Analytics

About the role
Unilever Arabia is seeking an Assistant Manager – Data & BI to own and operate the commercial data, business intelligence and analytics ecosystem for its Customer Business Development function across six GCC markets.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a high‑volume data estate of 1,700+ files covering sell‑in, sell‑out, distribution, trade stock and execution data.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Power Query, Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Develop, administer and optimise Power BI dashboards and data models for 300+ business users.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks with Power Automate and advanced Excel solutions.
- Lead a team of up to six analysts, ensuring data governance and delivering commercial insights.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, commercial analytics or data roles, preferably in FMCG, retail or e‑commerce.
- Proven ability to build reporting from scratch and automate manual processes.
Required skills
- Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query)
- SQL
- Python (pandas, scikit‑learn or similar)
- Azure Data Factory, Databricks
- Machine‑learning techniques for data matching and classification
