Assistant Manager – Facilities Management (UAE National)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Facilities Management will lead on‑site property inspections, assess unit conditions and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safety, quality and smooth hand‑overs. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the role supports move‑ins and move‑outs while upholding Colliers’ standards of customer care and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct move‑in, move‑out, routine and vacant unit inspections using approved tools and checklists.
• Document findings, prepare inspection reports, snag lists and condition assessments within set timelines.
• Verify completion and quality of maintenance work before unit hand‑over.
• Liaise with Technical Services teams and contractors to address defects and follow up on rectifications.
• Support preventive maintenance inspections and monitor asset condition.
• Identify health and safety risks, ensure compliance with AD EHSMS, ADOSH and UAE regulations.
• Upload reports, photographs and status updates to the designated system and maintain audit‑ready records.
• Interact professionally with residents, owners and colleagues, coordinating access to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Minimum 24 months of experience in property inspections, maintenance coordination or related facilities management.
• Familiarity with UAE health, safety and building regulations.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and manage documentation.
