Assistant Manager Human Resources

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Human Resources is a generalist role within Home Centre’s People & Culture team, covering HR operations, manpower planning, project coordination, and employee engagement across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Drive employee engagement initiatives, organize events, and manage recognition programs across GCC locations.
• Maintain live headcount plans, prepare manpower summaries, and analyse attrition data quarterly.
• Own coordination and delivery of HR projects, maintain activity calendars, and draft HR communications.
• Execute core HR transactions such as contracts, letters, HRMS updates, and probation tracking while ensuring data accuracy.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or MBA specializing in HR.
• 6–8 years of HR experience, preferably in fast‑paced retail.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, stakeholder management, and multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRMS and HR data management.
• Ability to build and maintain dashboards and HR reports.
• Project management and SOP development.
