About the role

The Assistant Manager – Pool & Beach Bar will support the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Fairmont Ajman's beachfront bar. This role combines operational oversight with team leadership to ensure the outlet remains a top dining destination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the pool and beach bar, maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all areas.
• Support planning and execution of promotions, events, and seasonal activities.
• Supervise, motivate, and schedule staff; conduct briefings and performance monitoring.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints, and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive revenue through upselling, monitor costs, inventory, and control waste.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, and assist with budgeting and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene, and alcohol service regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in luxury or upscale food‑and‑beverage operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health, safety, and food‑hygiene standards.
• Experience with inventory control and cost management.
• Ability to handle cash and billing procedures accurately.
