Assistant Manager - Pool And Beach Bar

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Pool & Beach Bar will support the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional service at Fairmont Ajman's beachfront venues. This role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and guest‑experience focus to ensure the bar operates smoothly and profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the pool and beach bar, maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all areas, addressing issues promptly.
• Supervise, motivate and schedule the team; conduct briefings and oversee performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training while ensuring compliance with brand and grooming standards.
• Build strong guest relationships, handle feedback and complaints, and create a vibrant atmosphere.
• Drive revenue through upselling, promotions and cost‑control measures; manage inventory, stock levels and waste.
• Prepare reports, forecasts and budgets; ensure accurate billing and cash handling.
• Enforce health, safety, food‑hygiene and alcohol service regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in luxury or upscale Food & Beverage operations.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver high‑quality guest service.
