Assistant Manager – Site Store (Civil & Electrical)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead civil and electrical store operations on construction sites in the UAE. The role ensures material availability, accurate inventory control, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day civil and electrical store activities, including receipt, storage, issuance, and housekeeping.
• Verify materials against LPOs, delivery notes, approved submittals and drawings; coordinate QA/QC inspections.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, bin cards and ERP entries; conduct periodic reconciliations.
• Issue materials strictly against approved Material Requisitions with full traceability.
• Supervise unloading, stacking, FIFO practices and preservation of cement, steel, chemicals and other sensitive items.
• Monitor stock levels, initiate replenishment requests and support audit requirements (DEWA / TRANSCO).
• Lead store supervisors, storekeepers and helpers; allocate duties, train staff and oversee performance reviews.
• Identify and implement layout, storage and process improvements; support ERP/SAP digital inventory control.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• 10–15 years of store/warehouse experience in the UAE, with 6–8 years handling civil and electrical materials for substation or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience on Dubai/UAE projects (DEWA / TRANSCO preferred).
• Warehouse/Inventory Management certification and ERP/SAP training.
• Strong knowledge of civil and electrical materials used in substation construction.
