Assistant Marketing Manager - Hotel

About the role

The Assistant Marketing Manager is part of a team that creates and executes property-level communications for a Westin hotel in Dubai Marina. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and Communication, the role promotes on-brand messaging through traditional, digital and social media channels to enhance the hotel's image, build direct marketing plans and campaigns, and strengthen partnerships with regional eCommerce and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual marketing plan and help Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams run promotions for in-house guests
• Work with the advertising agency on creative and media plans, especially for F&B promotions, and manage F&B media schedules, email marketing and display advertising
• Manage social media content across the hotel website and travel sites, and handle online reputation management
• Help develop quarterly PR plans, maintain media contracts, write press releases and coordinate photography for F&B advertising and seasonal promotions
• Coordinate hotel and F&B printed materials, collateral and signage, and ensure they meet brand standards
• Support communications such as the hotel newsletter, joint F&B promotions and sponsored events, and keep the hotel website up to date
• Act as a marketing subject matter expert for GMs, Sales and Revenue leaders and follow digital and marketing trends

Required profile

• 2-year degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or a related major, with 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital or a related field (hospitality marketing or digital advertising preferred)
• OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in a related major with no work experience required
