Assistant Procurement Manager (Dubai)

About the role

The Assistant Procurement Manager will support DGM Investment’s purchasing activities in Dubai, ensuring cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company policies. Reporting to senior procurement leadership, the role combines supplier evaluation, contract management and financial analysis to drive value across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value.
• Monitor procurement budgets, verify invoices and coordinate payment processes with finance.
• Analyse procurement costs, identify savings opportunities and prepare financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate purchase order records.
• Evaluate supplier performance, maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee contract management.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams for inventory planning.
• Lead and supervise members of the procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain management.
• Strong finance background with experience in budgeting, cost control and financial analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as YARDI or ODOO.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical abilities.
