About the role

The Department of Psychology at Abu Dhabi University seeks an Assistant Professor to join its full‑time faculty. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality teaching and contribute to research across core and specialized psychology areas, supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based, student‑centred teaching in cognitive, developmental, social and abnormal psychology.
• Prepare and continuously update course materials and curricula.
• Assess student performance, supervise research projects and provide academic advising.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish findings and present at academic conferences.
• Participate in departmental service and curriculum development aligned with international standards.
• Collaborate with community and professional organisations to enhance programme relevance.
