Secondary ICT Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Secondary ICT Teacher to join our school immediately. The successful candidate will deliver engaging ICT lessons to Cycle 2‑3 or secondary students, tailoring instruction to individual learning needs and fostering a forward‑thinking classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deepen subject expertise in ICT.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with grade‑by‑grade learning standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to coordinate interdisciplinary teaching.
• Provide both direct and indirect instruction, addressing short‑ and long‑term student needs.
• Prepare students for all required assessments and evaluate progress.
• Produce quarterly achievement reports for parents.
• Create an inviting, innovative learning environment and manage the classroom effectively.
• Incorporate feedback from administrators and serve as an advisor for student groups.
• Support the ADEK National Identity initiative and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (QFE Level 7) in Computing, Information Technology or a related field, attested and UAE‑equivalency certified.
• Recognised teaching qualification (Teaching Diploma, PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary or Cycle 2‑3 settings.
• For non‑native English speakers, a valid IELTS score of 5.5.
• Availability to start for the Academic Year 2025, preferably immediately.
