Assistant Professor – Public Relations & Institutional Communication

About the role

Liwa University’s College of Media and Public Relations is seeking an Assistant Professor to join its faculty in Fall 2027. The position focuses on teaching and research in Public Relations, Institutional, and Government Communication, with instruction delivered in Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical courses in Public Relations and Institutional/Government Communication.
• Teach additional communication subjects as required by the college.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Engage in college, community, and professional service activities.
• Contribute to the development and promotion of the academic program.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Communication with a specialization in Public Relations & Institutional and Government Communication.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience at the higher‑education level.
• At least one year of professional experience in the relevant communication fields.
• Strong record of scholarly publications in Scopus‑indexed or Arcif‑indexed journals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence applications for teaching.
• Competence with digital media tools.
• Social media management expertise.
