About the role
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and development projects from initiation through completion. Working closely with Project Managers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, the APM helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Coordinate activities with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
- Track milestones, monitor progress, and report status to senior management.
- Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration processes.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
- Monitor project budgets, review contractor invoices, and track expenditures against approved budgets.
- Organise project meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and help resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in project management, construction, facilities management, or property development.
- Knowledge of project lifecycle management and construction processes.
- Experience supporting budget tracking, procurement, and contract administration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
