Contract Manager (Construction)

About the role

The Contract Manager will lead the administration of all contractual matters across multiple construction projects, ensuring the company’s commercial interests are protected and project delivery stays on schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming contractual correspondence and issue appropriate responses.
• Administer construction contracts, supplier and subcontract agreements, and advise on best contractual practices.
• Provide day‑to‑day contractual support to Project Directors, Project Managers and other stakeholders.
• Draft and submit timely notices for time‑related and cost‑related events.
• Prepare detailed documents for time and cost claims in line with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients and consultants to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
• Monitor and maintain contractual correspondence logs with potential legal implications.
• Identify, advise on, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
• Attend internal and external site progress, commercial and contractual meetings.
• Review monthly commercial reports and support the development of quantity surveying knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality policies and report any violations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s in Construction Management is highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in contract administration within well‑established contracting companies in the GCC.
• Strong understanding of strategic financial structures, bid processes and contract conditions.
• Proven ability to communicate contract information clearly to site teams.
