Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of infrastructure and architectural projects across the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with the Project Manager, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client and stakeholder needs, define project goals and create detailed execution plans.
• Organise and maintain project documentation, reports and deliverables.
• Manage project team tasks, schedules and delegate work as required.
• Track and report project progress, liaise with stakeholders on details and deliverables.
• Assist in planning, scheduling and implementation of project activities.
• Conduct administrative duties such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices and preparing estimates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within infrastructure and architectural projects.
• Experience in roads, highways, utilities, transport engineering or urban planning.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to multitask.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Civil3D and Bentley software.
• Ability to analyse data and solve problems under pressure.
