Assistant - Quality Assurance

About the role

The Assistant – Quality Assurance supports the Institutional Planning and Quality Office in managing student feedback systems and reporting processes across the university’s campuses. The role involves close collaboration with students, faculty, and external bodies to ensure high‑quality educational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, store, analyse and report on student feedback using appropriate technological tools.
• Liaise with student representatives, staff members and external stakeholders; keep formal minutes and follow up on actions.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports on feedback processes, outcomes and trends.
• Assist in the administration of surveys such as Programme Voice Groups, Module Feedback, Middlesex Student Survey and Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey.
• Support the Quality Manager in preparing submissions for KHDA and MoHESR, including market evaluation studies.
• Compile documentation for university committees (Academic Board, Faculty Quality Committee, etc.) and contribute to Educational Monitoring and Enhancement reports.
• Communicate effectively with faculty, students and central services in Dubai and London, promote workplace safety and participate in quality‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Relevant undergraduate degree in a related discipline.
• Practical experience in a university environment.
• Calm, confident and effective in dealing with staff, students and external parties.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for formal reporting and presentations.
