Assistant Recruitment Manager

About the role

The Assistant Recruitment Manager will support Fairmont The Palm in delivering a seamless end‑to‑end recruitment experience. Reporting to People & Culture leadership, this role ensures compliance, candidate quality, and a smooth onboarding journey for new hires.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding, guaranteeing a positive candidate experience.
• Support senior management in resolving recruitment‑related issues and ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records, interview documentation, and recruitment metrics.
• Conduct candidate interviews when required and manage relationships with external recruitment sources.
• Assist managers with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, and employee motivation.
• Develop and monitor the recruitment budget and ensure seamless communication between recruitment and People & Culture teams.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics, including housing and visa processing, and keep a proactive talent pool.
• Track new joiner status, ensure clear communication throughout the onboarding process, and perform additional People & Culture tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous administration or People & Culture experience.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
