Assistant Restaurant General Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will help oversee daily operations of the award‑winning Couqley French Brasserie in Downtown Dubai. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain and optimise reservation, booking and guest profiling systems.
• Gather guest feedback, identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans.
• Plan and deliver regular training sessions, daily briefings and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with management to develop promotions, incentives and initiatives that boost revenue and team engagement.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a similar restaurant management role within a busy environment.
• Proven track record of leading large teams in restaurants and bars.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and active listening.
