Assistant Restaurant Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our dining venue in Al Wathba South, Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure smooth service, high guest satisfaction, and a well‑coordinated team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house staff, ensuring teamwork, proper grooming, and adherence to uniform standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO usage, and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inventories, stock requisitions, and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee dining room flow, seating availability, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Complete work orders for maintenance and report any safety concerns.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching team members.
• Uphold company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and ensure a courteous and professional service experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food‑and‑beverage operations.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and navigating confined spaces.
