About the role
Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager – Leisure to develop and manage leisure business. Reporting to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for driving revenue, building relationships with tour operators, DMCs, wholesalers and travel agencies, and supporting the hotel’s sales strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with tour operators, DMCs, wholesalers and travel agencies.
- Identify new leisure business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections and account reviews.
- Achieve assigned revenue and room‑night targets.
- Support contracting, rate negotiations, promotions and seasonal offers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and account performance.
- Collaborate with Revenue, Reservations and Marketing to maximise business opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows, roadshows, sales missions and networking events.
- Maintain accurate sales activities, account records and regular performance updates.
