Assistant Store Manager – Luxury Salon

About the role

Brau is seeking an experienced, customer‑focused Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of one of its premium salons. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure every client enjoys a luxury experience while helping drive sales and maintain high standards across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day‑to‑day salon operations.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience from check‑in to check‑out.
• Manage appointments, optimise schedules and ensure artists’ diaries run efficiently.
• Handle client enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Oversee team rotas, annual leave and appointment planning.
• Complete daily financial reconciliation and maintain accurate sales records.
• Drive retail sales, treatment packages and upselling opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance and support action plans to meet targets.
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate targets, promotions and updates.
• Maintain client records, consultation forms and customer profiles.
• Support inventory management for retail and professional stock.
• Ensure salon presentation, SOPs, hygiene standards and compliance with regulations.
• Step into Front of House duties as needed and foster a positive team culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management or senior Front of House role within beauty, spa, hospitality or luxury retail.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Commercially minded with proven sales and retail performance track record.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
