About the role
We are looking for an organized Assistant Storekeeper to manage our Dubai warehouse. The role involves overseeing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a safe, efficient storage environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, unpack and store incoming materials in designated locations.
- Maintain up‑to‑date inventory using computerized systems.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Arrange warehouse layout to optimise space utilisation.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfil inventory requests.
- Prepare periodic reports on stock levels, damages and variances.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2‑3 years of experience in a storekeeper or warehouse role.
- Physical stamina for lifting and prolonged standing.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with inventory management software.
- Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Forklift operation.
- Pallet jack operation.
