About the role

The Assistant Surveyor will support the survey team in data collection, measurements and field documentation for marine and dredging projects. The role involves equipment preparation, on‑site inspections and coordination with other surveyors to ensure accurate survey operations.

Key responsibilities

Assist in surveying tasks such as data collection, measurements and documenting field notes.
Support the project survey team with mobilization, calibrations and execution of surveys.
Report activities affecting survey operations to the Chief/Project Surveyor.
Execute on‑field studies and document dimensions.
Coordinate on‑ground survey tasks with other surveyors.
Prepare, clean, calibrate and maintain survey equipment.
Provide installation, troubleshooting and support for survey hardware and software.
Carry out on‑site safety inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Required profile

Secondary School Certificate with a discipline‑specific technical qualification or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar industry.
