Assistant Training Director – Gaming Academy

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Training Director to support the Gaming Academy at Wynn Al Marjan Island, a new integrated resort slated to open in 2027. The role will help design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes for table games and electronic gaming machines, ensuring service excellence aligned with the Wynn luxury brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes for all major games, ensuring operational and service excellence.
• Oversee customer service training standards for Table Games and EGM, aligning with Wynn brand expectations.
• Partner with the EGM department to design and apply customer‑service and succession development programmes across all gaming areas.
• Deliver engaging classroom‑based, practical and on‑the‑floor training using adult‑learning principles.
• Coach and mentor gaming trainers, supervisors and managers to elevate training capability.
• Ensure all training content complies with UAE gaming laws and Wynn internal controls, maintaining accurate certification records.
• Design and implement succession plans for key gaming roles, identifying high‑potential talent.
• Utilise Learning Management Systems and digital platforms, integrating simulation‑based learning, gamification and e‑learning modules.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes in a gaming or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE gaming regulations and internal compliance requirements.
• Ability to coach trainers, supervisors and managers and to embed luxury service behaviours.
• Experience creating structured learning pathways for onboarding, cross‑training, upskilling and career progression.
• Familiarity with modern learning technologies, including LMS, simulation and gamified learning solutions.
