Assistant Transportation Manager

About the role

The Assistant Transportation Manager supports daily transportation operations for hotel guests and staff, ensuring safe, punctual, and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing guest transfers, airport pickups, hotel and staff transportation.
• Supervise drivers, prepare duty rosters and vehicle schedules, and monitor punctuality and service standards.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, well‑maintained, road‑worthy and coordinate servicing, inspections, repairs, registration and insurance.
• Track fuel consumption, mileage, expenses and maintain accurate records of assignments, maintenance and incidents.
• Handle transportation‑related complaints, delays and operational issues promptly.
• Report accidents, traffic violations and coordinate follow‑up actions.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, HR, Engineering and other departments to meet transportation needs.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance monitoring of transportation team members.
• Assist the Transportation Manager with budgeting, cost control and operational reporting.
