Assistant Vice President Development

About the role

The Assistant Vice President Development supports the end‑to‑end delivery of land, residential, retail and mixed‑use projects for Aldar Properties. Reporting to the line manager, the role coordinates internal and external consultants, prepares feasibility studies and financial models, and helps secure investment and pre‑sale commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing business development activities for land, residential, retail and mixed‑use assets.
• Identify new development opportunities and source third‑party investment (JV, project finance, etc.).
• Develop and present feasibility studies and financial models in collaboration with Partnerships & Investments.
• Perform project costing, infrastructure cost breakdowns and land pricing recommendations.
• Liaise with Operations, Investment Analysis and other functions to align on feasibility and delivery plans.
• Monitor delivery team progress, report on hand‑overs, and use market intelligence to advise on land use and master‑plan requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of experience in real estate development or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
