About the role

Join the SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences team as an Assistant Waiter/Waitress, providing friendly, courteous, and professional service in a luxury 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and check tables before service and support the head waiter with mise en place, table resetting and preparation.
• Deliver food and beverages according to hotel/restaurant standards, ensuring proper presentation.
• Maintain clear communication with management, reporting operational updates, guest feedback and concerns promptly.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, cleaning duties and uphold company standards for hygiene and service.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items and be assertive and attentive at all times.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years experience in a public‑contact role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Gracious, friendly demeanor with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented attitude, capable of working independently and collaborating across departments.
