Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing (Higher Education)

About the role

Ajman University seeks a dynamic Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing to join its Faculty of Business. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, develop curricula, and advance the university’s research profile in marketing and hospitality management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess marketing and hospitality management courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Employ innovative, technology‑enabled teaching methods.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in top‑tier journals, and seek external funding.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and internships.
• Contribute to curriculum design, program development, and accreditation processes.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Build partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related field from a reputable, preferably AACSB‑accredited university.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in an internationally reputable institution.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications in top business/management journals.
• Evidence of curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
• Experience supervising student research and a commitment to professional service.

Required skills

• Teaching experience in Hospitality Management (highly desirable).
