Assistant/Associate Professor – Public Relations

About the role

Al Ain University seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor to lead its Public Relations program. The successful candidate will develop and deliver undergraduate courses, integrate digital practices, and support student research and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and teach courses such as Principles of Public Relations, Communication Campaigns, PR Writing, Digital PR, Public Opinion Research, and Professional Ethics.
• Apply contemporary digital content management and campaign performance measurement techniques.
• Incorporate case studies, field projects, and workshops in partnership with public and private sector organizations.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and supervise graduation projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course management, and continuous improvement aligned with university standards.
• Participate in research activities, committees, accreditation processes, and university initiatives.
• Build relationships with professional and community organizations to enhance field training and engagement.

Required profile

• PhD in Public Relations, Communication, or a closely related field.
• Minimum three years of university teaching experience with a proven record of excellence.
• Peer‑reviewed research published in Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Commitment to curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic accreditation.
• Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
