Associate Architect – International Design Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Architect to join a leading international architectural design consultancy in Dubai. The role offers the chance to lead high‑profile projects across the UAE and the wider region, working closely with senior leadership and global studios.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects through Pre‑Concept, Concept, and Schematic Design stages.
• Drive design excellence while meeting project objectives, timelines and client expectations.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and collaborate with international design teams across multiple studios.
• Oversee project delivery, team coordination and design management processes.
• Prepare and present high‑quality design presentations and reports.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Contribute to strategic discussions on project opportunities and studio growth.

Required profile

• Qualified Architect with a strong portfolio of built and conceptual work.
• Proven experience in leading international architectural consultancies.
• Strong project‑running experience in early design stages.
• Experience delivering high‑profile projects in the UAE or GCC region.
• Currently based in the UAE with regional market knowledge.
• Excellent design, presentation and communication skills.
• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with international teams and multidisciplinary consultants.
