Associate Banker - Emiratized Role

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is hiring an Associate Banker for its Private Banking and Key Client Group UAE office. The role actively supports the client-facing front office for Relationship Managers, handles customer enquiries onshore and offshore on credit lending facilities, and supports the Business Planning and Strategy team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day customer transactions and enquiries, and update customers and Relationship Managers on their portfolios
• Support Relationship Managers with client requests, including calling clients and exchanging documents
• Ensure proper processing of client applications and maintain appropriate documentation
• Help prepare requests for investment credit facilities and monitor leverage coverage, maturities and interest repayments
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including the monthly sales report for Relationship Managers
• Coordinate with Operations, the Investment Desk, and middle and back office teams in international locations
• Enter and monitor customer data in the core banking system and cover colleagues during absences

Required profile

• Experience in the financial and investment services industry
• Advanced knowledge of features, benefits and risks of financial products sold to retail clients, and of retail banking and trust products; investment product lifecycle knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work in a team, handle complex situations, interpret regulatory rules and comply with policies
• Ability to organize, prioritize and track multiple detailed tasks

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Good interpersonal, communication and multilingual skills
