Associate Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate or early‑career analyst to join Tamara’s flagship Builders Program in Dubai. The Associate Data Analyst will work on an analytical‑engineering track, turning raw data into reliable, AI‑ready datasets that power self‑serve analytics and insights across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Model and transform data into clean, reusable fact and dimension tables.
• Define, document and align business metrics such as active users, approval and default rates.
• Answer ad‑hoc analytical questions and turn frequent queries into self‑serve dashboards or AI‑enabled workflows.
• Package datasets and metrics for safe use by AI tools, including clear grain, definitions and data contracts.
• Write basic tests, monitoring and troubleshooting procedures to ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product teams on schema changes, event tracking and pipeline improvements.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or less than one year of relevant experience (internships, projects, part‑time roles).
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to define problems, form hypotheses and validate results.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accurate, reliable outputs.
• Team‑oriented mindset and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Solid SQL fundamentals (joins, aggregations, basic window functions).
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and basic statistical analysis.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schemas and slowly changing dimensions.
• Familiarity with modern analytics tools (e.g., dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) is a plus.
