Associate Director – Education Sector (Emiratized)

About the role

The Associate Director will drive financial analysis, structuring and day‑to‑day management of an education‑sector portfolio, supporting the Director on large mandates while independently handling mid‑market client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed financial analysis of K‑12, higher education and nursery clients to uncover opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Prepare end‑to‑end transaction documentation, including credit applications, term sheets and mandate letters.
• Coordinate KYC reviews, ensure timely credit renewals and maintain strict AML and compliance standards.
• Identify and secure New‑to‑Bank business and drive cross‑selling of transaction banking, treasury and FX solutions.
• Maintain proactive client account plans and oversee transaction administration, onboarding and account opening.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in Corporate Banking Coverage, Structured Finance or Investment Banking, with proven experience handling corporate clients in the education sector.
• Strong knowledge of wholesale banking credit structures, market solutions and corporate strategies.
• Excellent communication and internal diplomacy skills to influence cross‑functional committees.
