Associate Director – Global Communications & Community Engagement

About the role

The Associate Director – Global Communications & Community Engagement will shape and lead Amouage’s global publishing, community and cultural engagement strategy. Reporting to the Head of Global Communications, the role operates autonomously as the senior reference point for community, cultural engagement and publishing worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Amouage’s global owned social ecosystem and publishing strategy, ensuring a unified editorial framework across markets.
• Oversee tone‑of‑voice governance, translating creative concepts and press narratives into culturally aligned content.
• Develop and execute the global community strategy, driving growth, engagement and advocacy across digital and physical touchpoints.
• Build and manage structured “Friends of the House” ecosystems and community chapters worldwide.
• Lead cultural partnerships and community‑driven activations such as salons, boutique openings and in‑market experiences.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in fragrance communications and a strong understanding of high‑perfumery culture.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously and act as the senior reference point for community, cultural engagement and publishing.
• Strategic mindset with experience shaping narrative stewardship and community ecosystems at a global scale.
• Excellent judgement, strong editorial sensibility and the capacity to translate creative concepts into culturally resonant outputs.
