Associate Director - Regulatory and Risk Advisory (Corporate Treasury)

About the role

KPMG Middle East's Regulatory and Risk Advisory (RRA) team provides treasury advisory services to corporate clients across the Middle East, including transformation programmes, treasury strategies and policies, cash and liquidity management, hedging strategies and treasury systems selection. As Associate Director, you will define strategy, shape client transformation agendas and lead client engagements and teams on large programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the growth and strategic development of the corporate treasury practice, including capability building, solution innovation and revenue expansion.
• Act as a strategic advisor to CFOs and Group Treasurers, influencing investment decisions and shaping treasury transformation agendas.
• Own revenue generation: lead pursuits, shape proposals and convert opportunities into engagements.
• Lead go-to-market initiatives, develop market propositions and contribute to thought leadership.
• Anticipate emerging trends, regulatory developments and market innovations and turn them into client solutions.
• Lead and oversee complex client engagements with high-quality delivery and effective risk management.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in corporate treasury or advisory within a leading financial institution or consulting firm.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or CFA.
• Proven track record leading treasury transformation projects, ideally including TOM design, cash management, IHB, payment factory, liquidity forecasting, banking strategy or TMS implementation.
• Fluent English; Arabic or another regional language is a plus.

• Technical knowledge of treasury systems and systems selection and implementation (KYRIBA, FIS, SAP Hana, GTreasury, etc.).
• Financial modeling and financial risk management.
• Treasury product pricing and accounting treatments.
• Business development, RFP responses and client relationship management.
