Associate Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Associate Mechanical Engineer will support the mechanical engineering team on oil‑and‑gas projects in Dubai. Working under close supervision, you will apply basic engineering principles to design, analyse, and document mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in detailed design, calculations and analysis for routine engineering tasks.
• Prepare clear design calculations, reports and procedural documents.
• Produce drafting deliverables such as datasheet sketches and modification drawings.
• Support the review of vendor drawings, documents and inspection‑test procedures.
• Help evaluate technical and commercial bids in collaboration with engineers and buyers.
• Apply relevant HSE requirements and international standards to all engineering work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 0‑3 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Good written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
• Quality‑oriented, schedule‑conscious and able to work in a team.
• Flexibility to assist colleagues with increased workload.
