Associate or Full Professor – Family Medicine

About the role

The Department of Family Medicine at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University, seeks a full‑time Associate or Full Professor to lead undergraduate teaching, clinical skills training, and student assessment in the Family Medicine clerkship.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate lectures and practical sessions for the Family Medicine clerkship.
• Supervise clinical skills training and assess medical students.
• Provide consultant‑level clinical services at affiliated AHS SEHA outpatient clinics.
• Conduct clinical and laboratory‑based research in collaboration with faculty and hospital partners.
• Participate in educational committees, curriculum development, and administrative duties.
• Mentor junior faculty and contribute to international research collaborations.

Required profile

• MD or MBBS degree with advanced postgraduate training in Family Medicine.
• Certification or Fellowship from North America, Australasia, or Europe.
• Prior undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience.
• Strong record of scholarly activity with peer‑reviewed publications.
• Training in medical education and research methods.

Required skills

• Familiarity with USMLE, Canadian Qualifying Examinations, and graduate medical program accreditation.
• Curriculum design, course oversight, and student supervision.
• Expertise in Family Medicine research and the ability to advance knowledge in the field.
