Associate Professor - Management Science & Engineering

About the role

The university seeks an Associate Professor to lead teaching, research, and service activities in Engineering Systems, Operations, Analytics, and Management. The role combines undergraduate and graduate instruction with high‑impact research and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses using project‑based, case‑based, and data‑driven approaches, integrating modern analytical and decision‑support tools.
• Supervise MSc and PhD research, senior design projects, industry collaborations, and internships.
• Develop and maintain a sustained research agenda, publish peer‑reviewed work, and secure external funding.
• Contribute to program accreditation, curriculum development, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in departmental, university, and professional service committees and outreach activities.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of academic experience, including at least 5 years as an Assistant Professor or equivalent.
• Demonstrated record of teaching excellence, scholarly publications, graduate supervision, and academic service.
• Experience in external funding acquisition, industry collaboration, and curriculum accreditation is highly desirable.
