Associate Project Manager (Emirati Talents)

About the role

As an Associate Project Manager you will lead the execution of small to medium‑size projects, ensuring all activities follow ABB’s procedures, regulations and standards. You will work onsite in Abu Dhabi, supporting senior project managers and contributing to the Motion Business Area.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small to medium size projects, ensuring execution aligns with procedures, regulations and standards.
• Monitor and control project progress, resource utilization and financial performance.
• Identify, qualify and manage project risks, and pursue opportunities.
• Support formal acceptance, contract close‑out and customer acknowledgment in line with contract terms.
• Assist project engineers with documentation and coordinate daily tasks for project managers.
• Track actions, milestones and schedules, and coordinate shipment of materials based on project scope.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, supply chain, finance and factories.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 0‑3 years of experience in project management.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
