Associate QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment)

About the role

The Associate QHSE will support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems. The role ensures compliance with safety, food safety and environmental standards across all facilities and new assets, and participates in design reviews to embed QHSE requirements from concept to operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QHSE policies, procedures and management systems aligned with international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits and site inspections to identify hazards, non‑conformities and improvement opportunities.
• Provide on‑site guidance to operational teams, supervise compliance with FM service providers and investigate incidents, accidents or near‑misses.
• Perform design reviews of new assets, review drawings, specifications and risk assessments, and issue permits to work for vendors.
• Plan, deliver and document QHSE training sessions, including food safety, health & safety inductions and emergency preparedness.
• Support internal and external QHSE audits, prepare detailed reports and ensure timely closure of findings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably within community or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards and local UAE/GCC requirements, especially food safety and hygiene.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, auditing and incident investigation.
• UAE/GCC driving licence and ability to conduct site visits.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
