Associate, Relationship Management (f/m/d)

About the role

Deutsche Börse Group is looking for an Associate, Relationship Management (f/m/d) to develop and grow the business in the market under their coverage while ensuring the highest level of integrity and compliance with procedures and regulations. The role covers banks and financial institutions as customers.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, establish and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers (banks and financial institutions).
• Act as first line of defence, keeping clients' status, KYC/AML and adverse media up to date.
• Collect full KYC documentation and upload it to the CRM tool; ensure KYC reviews are completed on time.
• Meet targets for new relations, financial results, business growth, cross-selling and self-development, and support the line manager with the business plan.
• Identify opportunities and business at risk, monitor client MIS and profitability, and flag suspicious or irregular activity to the line manager.
• Prepare and present proposals and product presentations, and handle client onboarding from first contact through account activation, including system access, training and reporting setup.
• Liaise with compliance, credit and middle office, support product subscriptions, and manage escalated customer queries.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in securities or banking business; custodian bank or securities house experience preferred.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree; banking experience preferably in securities services or treasury/capital markets.
• KYC experience with compliance AML/CFT knowledge.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment, with good presentation and communication skills and on-time delivery.
• English required; Arabic and/or French is a plus.
