Associate – US-focused Private Equity (Global Fund)

About the role

Our client, a prestigious global investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an Associate to support US‑focused private equity investments. The position offers exposure to the full transaction lifecycle, from deal origination to portfolio management, within a high‑performing, internationally‑oriented team.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of private equity transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, execution and post‑investment monitoring.
• Develop and analyse detailed financial models to assess investment opportunities.
• Lead specific workstreams such as industry diligence, financial analysis, and coordination with external advisors.
• Serve as primary liaison for industry experts, management teams and co‑investment partners.
• Collaborate with other top‑tier asset managers and private equity funds on co‑investment opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in M&A at a leading investment bank or in a private equity role with prior investment‑banking exposure.
• Strong academic background from a top‑tier university.
• High business acumen, professional integrity and native‑level or business‑fluent English.
• US market experience is desirable but not essential.
