Audio Visual AV Manager

About the role

The Audio Visual Manager will oversee all AV and multimedia services for the resort, ensuring meetings, conferences, weddings and entertainment events run smoothly and reflect the brand’s avant‑garde style.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the setup, operation and breakdown of audio, video, lighting and stage equipment for all events.
• Partner with Events, Entertainment and Recreation teams to deliver innovative guest experiences.
• Provide technical support to clients, planners and internal stakeholders before and during events.
• Maintain detailed event checklists, run‑sheets and ensure timely execution of AV elements.
• Oversee inventory, storage and preventive maintenance of AV equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and recommend upgrades or new technologies.
• Lead, train and schedule a team of AV technicians, fostering a collaborative, guest‑focused culture.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and brand standards for lighting, sound and stage rigging.
• Manage the AV department budget, procurement and vendor negotiations, and report on expenses and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Audio‑Visual Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience managing AV operations in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessments and compliance procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high‑quality guest experiences.
