Authority Liaison Engineer

About the role

The Authority Liaison Engineer will act as the primary point of contact between Mirage and statutory authorities across Dubai and other emirates. The role ensures timely submission, tracking, and approval of NOCs and permits for construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage authority submissions, NOC tracking, and document control for multiple projects.
• Maintain professional relationships with local authority staff and coordinate meetings to expedite reviews.
• Prepare and review design submissions for compliance with UAE building codes and authority requirements.
• Upload project documents to authority portals, monitor online portals, and keep teams updated on procedural changes.
• Develop and maintain NOC and authority registration logs, and coordinate submission strategies with project managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in authority liaison within a design/architecture/engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience with UAE municipalities, DM, DDA, Trakhees, and related authority procedures.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of DM, DDA, Trakhees procedures.
