Auto CAD Draftsman - Furniture Factory

About the role

Al Subaiha Furniture Industries LLC, a bespoke luxury furniture manufacturer based in Sharjah, UAE, is hiring a full-time, on-site Auto CAD Draftsman for its furniture factory. The draftsman prepares detailed technical and engineering drawings for custom furniture so that designs are accurate, feasible and aligned with client specifications and production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Create and revise CAD layouts for custom furniture.
• Translate conceptual sketches and architectural drawings into precise manufacturing plans.
• Coordinate with designers, production supervisors and project managers.
• Check measurements, materials and construction details.
• Maintain organized drawing files and documentation.
• Support quality assurance by reviewing drawings for consistency and compliance with company standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture or a related technical field is preferred.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, joinery or interior fit-out is beneficial.
• Ability to read client specifications, technical standards and construction documents.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurements and ability to work to deadlines in a factory setting.
• Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary production and design teams.

Required skills

• Technical drawing and furniture and interior drawing.
• Engineering drawings for manufacturing, including dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.
• Architectural drawings, especially layouts and elevations for furniture and fit-out projects.
• Advanced AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
