Automotive Senior Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technician (EV + ICE) to join our After Sales / Workshop team in Dubai. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on EV and ICE vehicles, covering engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and high‑voltage components.
• Follow high‑voltage safety procedures, conduct isolation checks, and inspect battery and charging systems when authorized.
• Maintain quality control by recording all work on job cards, conducting post‑repair tests, and recommending corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians, support the Workshop Supervisor in task allocation, and share best practices.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Parts staff to ensure timely repair progress and parts availability.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Automotive Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with both EV and ICE vehicles in a dealership or authorized service centre in the UAE.
• EV high‑voltage safety training and authorization for assigned EV work.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic and diagnostic systems.

Required skills

• Advanced vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer‑approved tools.
• Interpretation of wiring diagrams and fault codes.
• High‑voltage safety procedures and use of PPE for EV work.
• Repair of electric motors, power electronics, charging systems and high‑voltage components.
