Automotive Service Technician – Personal Service (Volvo)

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Personal Service Technician (PST) to lead its Volvo Service Centers across the UAE. The role focuses on coaching the service team, improving workshop efficiency, and delivering a high‑quality customer experience while controlling operational costs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily team briefings and monitor key performance indicators.
• Support short‑ and long‑term planning to keep work‑in‑progress within target levels.
• Coach Personal Service Technicians on technical and administrative matters.
• Coordinate workshop improvement activities, ensuring compliance with 5S, productivity, and quality standards.
• Contribute to customer retention, value‑added service sales, training completion, and follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• 4‑5 years experience as a technical lead in an automotive dealership.
• Strong understanding of workshop operations, service processes, and team development in an after‑sales environment.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Good English communication skills, attention to detail, and basic PC knowledge.
