AV Manager

About the role

The AV Manager will lead audio‑visual operations for events and meetings at our Ras Al Khaimah property, ensuring seamless setup, operation and maintenance of all AV equipment and delivering a high‑quality experience for guests and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee setup, configuration, operation and maintenance of microphones, projectors, video displays, sound systems and video‑conferencing equipment.
• Maintain AV inventory, ensure proper storage and track equipment usage.
• Collaborate with event planners to capture AV requirements and provide on‑site support during events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Supervise and train the AV team, assigning tasks, evaluating performance and ensuring coverage.
• Plan and coordinate AV equipment layout for meetings and entertainment programmes.
• Manage the AV department budget, procure equipment, negotiate contracts and control maintenance costs.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance schedules and compliance with safety protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and implement improvements to enhance service quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing AV operations in a hospitality or events environment.
• Leadership experience supervising technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and organizational policies.
• Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.
• Up‑to‑date awareness of emerging AV technologies.
