AV Technician

About the role

As an AV Technician at The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah, you will ensure flawless audio‑visual support for meetings, conferences, banquets and other events. Working onsite in a luxury hospitality setting, you will operate a range of AV equipment to deliver a premium guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and dismantle AV systems for meetings, conferences, banquets and events.
• Manage sound systems, microphones, mixers, projectors, LED screens and video‑conferencing equipment.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of all AV devices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time to minimise disruption.
• Coordinate with Banquet, Sales and Event teams to meet client specifications.
• Maintain organized AV inventory, cables and storage.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience setting up, operating and dismantling AV equipment for events.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety policies.
• Team‑oriented mindset with proactive communication across departments.
